Blood Orange Lemonade (Winter Lemonade)
Blood Orange Lemonade is a sweet refreshing winter lemonade. It's easy to make and will give you a warm cozy feeling after the first sip, thanks to a secret ingredient.

- 1 cup blood orange juice about 5 blood oranges
- ½ cup lemon juice about 3 lemons
- 4 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 tablespoon honey
- Ice cubes
Boil the water with the cinnamon sticks. Boil it, and wait for it to cool down. 10 to 15 minutes should be enough.
Juice about 5 blood oranges until you have 1 cup of juice. Don’t forget to remove the seeds.
Juice about 3 lemons until you have ½ cup of juice. Again, remember to remove all seeds.
In a pitcher, add blood orange and lemon juice, cool cinnamon water and honey.
Keep the lemonade refrigerated for 1 hour. Serve with ice cubes.
Make it vegan: substitute honey for vegan honey.
Use lemonade ice cubes when serving for extra flavor.
If using sparkling water: add the sparkling water just before serving.
If using cinnamon powder, add about ¼ teaspoon. Whisk well to combine. There's no need to boil water if adding cinnnamon powder.
