Brown Sugar Lemonade

- 5 cups water
- 1 cup lemon juice
- ¾ cup brown sugar light or dark
Squeeze the lemons. Roll lemons on the counter, pressing down, or microwave them for 15 seconds to extract more juice.
In a pitch, add 5 cups of water. Don’t add ice cubes yet.
Add lemon juice and brown sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Serve the lemonade over ice.
Lemonade Ice Cubes. Use lemonade ice cubes instead of regular ice cubes. It prevents the lemonade from watering down, making a delicious beverage from start to finish.
Brow Sugar Syrup. You can use brown sugar syrup instead of brown sugar. Add the same amount asked for sugar (¾ cup), but only 4 ⅓ cups of water.
If you want it sweeter, just add more sugar. Add 1 tbsp, stir and taste.
