Easy Strawberry Juice

This Strawberry Juice will give you all the benefits of strawberry, ginger and lime while tasting like a dessert. No juicer needed: make it with a blender!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries hulled
  • 4 tablespoon ginger peeled and cubed
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

  • Peel and cut the ginger root. Clean and hull the strawberries.
  • In a blender, add the ginger, strawberries, water, lime juice and brown sugar. Blend for 2 minutes.
  • If wanted, strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  • Serve it with ice.

Notes

For an extra-cold juice with fewer ice cubes, make sure all ingredients are stored in your fridge before using.
Sweeter strawberries make a sweeter and tastier juice.
If using ginger root, make sure to get a young root, as old ones tend to have too much fiber.
For a twist, substitute half of the water for sparkling water. Remember to add this ingredient only after blending.
